So, hubby and I finished our spring cleaning this weekend. We scrubbed from top to bottom in every room. Then we moved in our new furniture! Our living room area is almost complete. We just want to get a nice photo for our largest wall, and our living area will finally be modern and homey. Yay! Our next mission is a new mattress for us. When I was pregnant I kind of put a premanant dp in our current mattress. We are also hoping to get Ashton a new big boy bed and then a nice kitchen table....which will actually be kind of like a breakfast bar. We have a very tight living quarter so our things must be sized down. So we also made a decision last night. We orgianally wanted to move when we got our taxes this year, but we decided to update our things first and stay here. So, I made a decision and shared it with Nick, I think he agreed... We are going to continue to update our things and stay here for as long as needed. Longer than originally planned. It's a good deal on rent, the "landlords" don't get in our business too much, and we can make it look great. Then, when we can safely afford it, and save money at the same time (like when we both have real jobs) we may rent a different place until we can build our dream home. I am so proud of our living room decor, and I have faith that we can make this whole, tiny apartment, that looks like all the others in this area, look unique and amazing. Hope everyone else is also having a GREAT beginning to 2009.
